The company was born in the visionary mind of Fabio Ceschin, side by side and heart to heart with Gianna. Passion, attention to the territory and the desire to build a new wine culture have been passed down to us children: Andrea, Francesco and Sara. We are always looking for an innovative push to make Il Colle a unique reality in terms of value and product.
The symbiosis with the art of cultivating vines has its origins back in the 18th century, when the first steps in the world of wine were taken through trade between Venice and Dolomiti. With the awareness of belonging to a generous land, marked by the patient and tenacious work of those who live it, by the sweetness of climate and seasons, our family has nurtured over time the ambition to create a new culture of wine, and Prosecco in particular, turning a passion into a vocation, reaching the highest quality in the production of Prosecco Superiore DOCG.

Our art in the cultivation of Prosecco has been handed down for four generations, coexisting with strongly characterizing values such as tradition, family, respect for the territory, trust and innovation. Elements that allow it today to be synonymous with quality and a point of reference in the panorama of local production.
The privileged geographical position allowed Il Colle to direct our resources mainly to the cultivation and production of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, an intrinsic expression of a territory which is a true natural heritage. We harvest about 1500 tons of grapes, almost one third of which come from the family farm, while the rest come from small farms in the area. The close collaboration of trust with local producers allows us to maintain a consolidated production capacity without compromising the healthy and authentic character of the wine-making methods. Due to the particular conformation of the land in fact, viticulture still preserves the tradition and art of harvesting carried out strictly by hand.

The impulse of renewal also involved our winery, recently renovated, enlarged and enriched with new technologies, in line with the development of the whole winery. Located in a large underground space, its presence is not perceived from outside, thus contributing to preserve uncontaminated the surrounding territory and landscape. Order, cleanliness and rationality coexist in a modern environment, where technology goes hand in hand with respect for the integrity of the natural product, according to the cardinal principles of the company philosophy. Accurate quality controls are guaranteed by a state-of-the-art laboratory for analysis and by the constant commitment of specialized oenologists.
